GET RID OF SKIN TAGS
If you have skin tags and would rather not, you can get rid of them with Cryotherapy by Gwen Adey.

What is Cryotherapy for skin tags? It's freezing them very precisely with fine jet of nitrous oxide.

We get it that you probably don't just have one. You probably have loads of them (if you don't, you're lucky) so we don't price per tag, we have transparent pricing that allows you to get lots removed without costing lots.

Benefits of CryoPen Cryotherapy Skin Tag Removal:
-
Quick (10-90 seconds per tag)
-
Relatively painless
-
Permanent

What's different about Skin Tag Removal Wales?
Instead of pricing for 1 or 2 tags, we price per appointment and nitrous oxide cannister. That way you can get up to 10 tags treated per appointment without it costing a crazy amount and without taking lots of your time.

What's the breakdown?
Consultation £0 (£30 Booking Fee applies, fully redeemable against treatment)
Treatment Appointment Fee is £90
Each canister of Freeze is £50.
Each canister if Freeze is generally enough for 8-15 very small tags, 5-10 small tags, 3-8 medium tags, 2-5 large tags, 1 very large tag.
So a first appointment including consultation and treatment is £140.
Generally a maximum of two canisters will be used in a single appointment.

If there's any Freeze left and you have more tags, we can keep going until it's used up, with the following provisos:
Tags being treated should not all be close together in one anatomic area - its ok to have a few close to each other (depending on size) but others should be spaced out. This is to avoid triggering a localized area of inflammation.
First appointment, generally no more than 5 tags for your safety to check your response.
Generally, no more than 10 in a single session to avoid excessive inflammation, but this depends on your response, the size of the tags and their location.

What's the procedure?
First we have a consultation where we discuss what you want treatment to achieve, history of your skin tags, general health, medications and then the skin tags are examined. Dr Adey will advise you if your skin tags are suitable for CryoPen treatment. You will be advised of the risks, benefits and alternatives to Cryotherapy and advised on price. If clinically appropriate and you want to go head with treatment , this can be done straight after your consultation if you want, or another day if you prefer.
The treatment is very simple and involves a first FREEZE, wait for THAWING, then FREEZE a second time and done.

What does it feel like?
For the most part of the treatment, you will just feel cold. Towards the end of the freeze, it may sting a little. After the treatment, the treated tags may sting a little bit for a short while, but this is only mild. Sometimes a blister will form and this is completely normal. Sometimes after treatment but before the tags fall away, they can feel a little sore if they rub on clothing. If this happens, a small dressing can be applied for your comfort. Once they are gone, you can enjoy your smooth tag-free skin.

What are the risks?
Pain
Blistering
Skin colour change
Hair change if the treated area is in hair-borne skin

Can children have treatment at Skin Tag Removal Wales?
Usually no.

What if it doesn't work enough?
Some skin tags will need more than one treatment. You will be advised if this is expected at your consultation before you decide if you want cryotherapy treatment. Needing more than one treatment most often applies to large or very large tags or to warts. Future appointments for treatment only of a previously treated tag is discounted to £95.

Do you treat warts?
